Last week I attended the Bumble & Bumble event where we got to try out some of their amazing hair products. If you have not heard of them, you definitely need to check them out! Besides getting to test a prestigious brand, I met several new blogger babes. If it’s one thing I have enjoyed about starting this blog it’s getting to know other girls who enjoy the same things I do, are so uplifting, and want to see you succeed.

I threw this outfit on after work for the event. Everyone (especially all girls) love Target, but I would say they have stepped up their game pretty recently. Both this skirt and shoes are from there and I was instantly drawn to them. I had seen many skirts like this this season and Target’s prices are unbeatable so it was a no-brainer. I have also been looking for comfortable leopard heels for a few months now and who knew I would find them at Target?! Being able to throw on something easy and super cute after work can sometimes be a struggle for me since I am exhausted and just want to put on the first thing I find. Both this skirt and shoes will be fall staples for me and I recommend them for you too! Happy Friday, lovelies!

Would you believe me if I told you this outfit came from Ross Dress for Less and was less than $30?! I’m going to let y’all in on a secret early on… I shop a lot at Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. They are my go-to stores for a good save. These stores usually have designer brands for an awesome price and trendy pieces for dirt cheap. So unfortunately I cannot link up my exact outfit as pictured here, but I linked some pieces that are just as cute and won’t break the bank.

I don’t know about the rest of you but I could not be more excited that it is Friday! This weekend I plan on catching up on some sleep, getting my home ready for fall, and (weather permitting) going to the The Renaissance Festival. You bet there will be pictures coming your way since the Ren Fest has some interesting sights to see. Don’t get me wrong though, it is one of my favorite events of the year. Happy friday lovelies!

When I am not working a full time job, my roommates and I like to go exploring! We found this cool graffiti building and obviously had to stop and snap a few pictures. This look was fun to put together since I mixed up a few seasonal trends. A little lace, distressed denim, army vest and some of the most comfortable heeled-sandals I have ever owned! Adding a vest and/or hat to a summer outfit can instantly transition your look into fall like I have done here. Until the weather starts actually feeling like fall down here in the south, you can find me getting as much use out of my late summer purchases as I absolutely can!

Hello lovelies! It feels SO good to be writing my first blog post! It’s been a long time coming and I am so excited to start sharing my life/fashion diaries with you guys. First up on the blog we have one of my go-to transition pieces for the bi-polar fall weather. I can finally start putting suede back into my wardrobe and that makes me happy! I told myself I would wait until Houston dropped below 80 to wear booties, (still crazy, i know) and since this weekend the weather “cooled off” a bit these babies made their first appearance of the season.

Not only is this one of the most simple outfits to throw on, it is cute and super comfortable too! I might be bias about maroon since I’m an Aggie, but it seems to be a statement color in my fall wardrobe and almost everywhere you look. Hats have quickly become my newest obsession and this one is hands down my absolute favorite! If you are looking for a fall statement piece, this is it!! Have a great week lovelies and thanks for stopping by to show your support! It means the world to me 🙂
