HO HO HO Merry Christmas and Happy December 1st! Who else is already blaring the Christmas tunes and becoming their happiest (s)elf?! Well if you aren’t already I have something that will surely change that! Santa Shelbi is back for another year of 12 Days of Christmas giveaways. It’s time to kick off the holidays by giving back to all of you for following along with me all year and also to spread some love and Christmas cheer.
This year I have been fortunate enough to work with so many amazing brands that have truly helped my small business grow and allowed me to take a leap of faith into blogging full time. Of course, absolutely none of that would mean anything if it weren’t for all of YOU that continually support me and my dreams. All you need to know at this point is that each day December 1 – 12 I will be posting a new giveaway around 8 pm CST on my Instagram account (@itsallchictome if you’re not already following along, get on that). I have also set up a page HERE that will keep a running list of the giveaways each day if you want to bookmark it on your computer so that you don’t miss any giveaway opportunities! You will be able to enter all of the giveaways until 12/12 when the clock strikes 12 am. All 12 days of winners will be announced on my blog on the 13th!

There is no place that I’d rather be than home for the holidays. Every year my parents have tried to get us to go forgo the normal Christmas traditions and take a family vacation instead and every year my sisters and I say no. To me there is just something special about being home for the holidays.
Growing up my family always decorated the Christmas tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving. That tradition still holds true but this year it was just me, mom and dad since both sisters moved to Chicago and Austin. It definitely was a little sad putting up all of the decorations without them!
My favorite part about putting up the Christmas decorations each year is that we all would put on our Christmas pajamas, blare Christmas music and stop for hot chocolate breaks. It’s a tradition that I will no doubt hopefully one day share with my own little family.
