I can’t believe it’s already time to start thinking about the holidays! I won’t lie I’ve already put up my Christmas tree and started decking the halls. When it comes to home decorating do you tend to take a traditional or non traditional approach? Over the years I’ve flip flopped back and forth. For example this year I love all of the buffalo plaid. I incorporated it for Fall and am now bringing it into the holiday season as well. My holiday color inspiration this year is white, gold and black. I ordered this 7.5 flocked Christmas tree and a quite a few other pieces that I can’t wait to show you next week when I bring my vision to life!
My favorite places to shop for budget friendly home decor are always Target, Walmart, TJ Maxx and Amazon. They have affordable finds that last me a few season’s worth so that way if I want to change it up one year, I didn’t invest too much money into a theme that isn’t to my liking anymore. Most finds from these places are under $20, if not less. TJ Maxx has free shipping days every so often where I like to stock up on all of the things.
Y’all this was the first year that I can say I had the hardest time coming up with a Christmas wishlist. I have been so blessed this year and feel like I always pick up the items I want. So the majority of my list this year are items that I need restocks on or have been wanting and just haven’t had the time to go pick up myself! I’m curious do you make a Christmas list for you family or does everyone just buy random gifts?! My entire family, including extended family, does Christmas list which I thought was normal but I recently asked around and apparently it’s not! lol
Funny stocking stuffers are kind of a speciality in my household. Well that and gift cards that is! I found some pretty darn funny ones this year and most of these are all from Amazon so you can still get them in time for Christmas!
I don’t know about you guys but my dad is the hardest person to buy for. I’m not kidding when I say he has returned almost every gift we have ever given him.
