Holiday Attire with Nordstrom

Holiday Party Style

Tis the season for holiday parties! This year instead of the traditional red and green outfits, I wanted to show you how to style other colors for the holiday season! The good thing about going this route is that all of these options can easily double as a NYE or date night outfit too! I’m styling four different holiday inspired outfits that could take you from a casual dinner date to a fancy party plus sharing all of my top holiday dressing picks from Nordstrom at the bottom of this post. I’ve made sure to include accessories too because no outfit is complete without them!

JUMPSUIT // COAT (similar) // SHOES // EARRINGS (similar)

Photos by: BanAvenue

This jumpsuit would be perfect for a fancier holiday party or wedding especially if you plan to bust a move because this bad boy has some serious stretch! It is under $60 making it a total steal plus comes in black too. The straps are adjustable so if you are in between sizes or having a bigger chest, I would size up! I am wearing a small.

While my faux fur coat is from last year and no longer linkable, see below for some similar style options! I wear this coat on repeat in the winter for any sort of dressier occasion and always receive so many compliments! You can see other ways I styled it here and here.

BLOUSE // SKIRT // BOOTS (similar)

Every since getting a pair of over the knee boots, my go to outfit seems to be a blouse, skirt and boots! It’s dressy, a little sexy and still warm! I invested in this BlankNYC skirt during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year and this year because they are that good! I wear this one all of the time! It is a versatile piece you can dress up or down and I’d pay full price for it any day. See other ways that I styled it here, here, and here! If you are in between sizes, size up! Another favorite way of mine to style a skirt for the holidays is with a festive sweater such as this one. See below for some more of my skirt picks!

TOP // JEANS // SHOES

If you are heading somewhere more casual and jeans are appropriate, throw on a sparkly or festive top and call it a day! I paired this festive silver top with my favorite leopard heels that I wear almost any time I go out because they are so fun and comfortable too! They are a little pricey so here is a similar pair under $50!

SWEATER // PANTS // SHOES

You are looking at my NYE outfit! I will be heading back to Chicago so something warm but still fun was my thought here. These bell bottom pants are even better in person! They sparkle and are super stretchy so busting a move won’t be a problem here! I would suggest sizing up as they run a little small. My fuzzy sweater is so comfortable, comes in several colors and is a great basic for holiday parties!

*Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.*

This Valentine’s Day whether you are single, taken or in a “complicated relationship”, my girlfriends and I have got you covered on what you can wear, no matter the occasion. These looks will take you from a fun night out with your girls to a date night with your guy.

My best piece of advice when searching for something to wear is to not feel like you have to stick to just red or pink. Also remember that even if you opt to not wear the traditional colors, that you can always accessorize with those colors instead!
