When it comes to home decorating do you tend to take a traditional or non traditional approach? Over the years I’ve flip flopped back and forth. For example this year I love all of the buffalo plaid. I already know that I want to incorporate it for Fall and bring it into the holiday season as well. I plan on mixing in some harvest colors with the buffalo plaid for Fall and then trading those out for red and gold come December. I tend to gravitate towards pieces that I know can be used for multiple holidays whether that’s Halloween and Thanksgiving or Fall and Christmas!

My favorite places to shop for budget friendly home decor are always Target, TJ Maxx and Amazon. They have affordable finds that last me a few season’s worth so that way if I want to change it up one year, I didn’t invest too much money into a theme that isn’t to my liking anymore. Most finds from these places are under $20, if not less. TJ Maxx has free shipping days every so often (including TODAY!) where I like to stock up on all of the things.
