June Top Ten

We are back for another monthly round up of the most purchased items from the previous month. I always love these posts because I enjoy seeing which items you ladies loved the most and which ones took a back seat. I always want to make sure that I bring you the best content and sale round ups so looking over this data for trending items, categories and retailers helps me plan similar content for the next month and hopefully you enjoy seeing behind the scenes a little bit too!

The past couple of months I have started sharing more of my Amazon and QVC finds and I’d say by the number of top sellers from these places you ladies are definitely loving them too! That certainly doesn’t mean that I will stop sharing my favorite items from places like NordstromAbercrombieRevolve and Old Navy!

To shop any of the below items, simply click on the picture and it will take you to the retailers site to purchase! Also, if you enjoy these types of post and are curious about how I obtain this data and track sales on the back end, scroll down to the bottom of this post for more information on that!

Top Ten Purchased Items

10. Walmart Maxi Dress

Walmart Dress

This $16 maxi dress has placed in the top ten for several months! It is insanely soft, has pockets, adjustable straps and comes in 10 colors! It runs true to size.

9. Walmart Leopard Swimsuit

Walmart Swimsuit Haul

You’d never guess this swimsuit was from Walmart it’s so good and under $15! The top runs small so I suggest sizing up while the bottoms run true to size.

8. Abercrombie Overalls

Abercrombie Shortalls

The best overalls I’ve found to date. The color I have (light wash) is no longer available but the dark wash is and I like it better! They fit true to size. I’m wearing an XS

7. Free People Dress

Free People Maxi Dress

Wait till you see the back of this cute maxi dress! It’s a gorgeous dress to dress up or down. It does run a bit oversized but I suggest getting your true size.

6. Pearl Headband

Amazon Pearl Headband

These pearl headbands have been ALL of the rage right now. The one I have is a $25 dupe for the $150 Lele Sadoughi headbands. I also found a $1 Amazon option that has great reviews from other bloggers. I REPEAT ONE DOLLAR!!

5. Amazon Dress

Amazon Cocktail Dress

I still can’t believe this dress is from Amazon! It’s SO good and under $30! I have the lavender color but it comes in about 10 gorgeous colors. It runs true to size. I’m wearing the small but could have done an XS.

4. Amazon Swimsuit

High waisted swimsuits

A top seller for months now, this $25 scalloped bikini is the cutest thing and best quality too. The top is padded and the material is SO soft. Overall it has amazing coverage and comes in several colors. Size up! I am typically a XS and got the small.

3. Slip SIlk Pillowcase

Silk Pillowcase Review

Ever since I found my silk pillowcase on TJMaxx’s website for over 50% off, y’all went crazy! They are a bit of a splurge and never go on sale so finding them at 50% off is a steal! If you haven’t read my post on why I will never go back to a cotton pillowcase and the benefits for your hair and skin, read it here.

2. MicroDermMD System

The best at home microdermabrasion product! Such a great remedy for exfoliating, removing dry skin and dirt as well as smoothing. Forgo two facials and invest in this! So much more bang for your buck.

1. Isle of Paradise Tanning Kit

These tanning drops are all the rage right now and are constantly selling out at retailers. I use shade dark and add it to my face moisturizer 2-3 times a week! If you are new to QVC you can use TAKE5 for $5 off.

And as a reminder on how I obtain the monthly top ten data…

I use an affiliate program called rewardStyle. This means that if you click on any link- whether it be from my Instagram, Liketoknow.it app or blog- that takes you to a product page on a retailer’s site and rewardStyle is able to track that it originated from me. Some affiliate programs will pay the influencer for every click that they generate from their site. RewardStyle pays per purchase made. This means that if you click on one of my links and then end up purchasing that item, I will get a small commission (usually between 7-12%).  Many bloggers use this same program as part of their revenue source.

Because I use this service I do have access to data analytics. This means I can track what items are clicked on and purchased. I cannot see who clicked on them or what other items might have been purchased. For example, if you click on my Gucci Belt link and then purchase a swimsuit and a top in the same transaction, I will only be able to see that a purchase was made and that the belt link is how you got to the retailer’s site.

These analytics are incredibly important to me because it allows me to see what all of you are liking. At the end of the day, this little blog business of mine is meant to be a resource for all of you so having the ability to track and measure each product’s success is invaluable. Coming from a Finance background, I tend to geek out over the analytics side of it as I find it incredibly intriguing what all of you are liking, buying and clicking on the most! It gets my gears turning because I genuinely want to bring you products that you are going to love and want to buy (at the right price point of course)!

Like I mentioned, this little blog is a full time business for me which means I am so appreciative when you choose to click and shop through my links – whether that be on Instagram or the blog. I have poured everything I have into being a resource for all of you so that hopefully it makes your life a little bit easier. I know that shopping through my links is an extra step for you, but please know it makes all the difference to me. It is how I am able to continue sharing great deals, try on sessions, and everything else. O and it allows me to pay my bills 🙂

All of that is to say, shopping through my links does not cost you anything additional (the item is the same price), the retailer will just pay me a small cut since I am the one that referred you. Please know I am so thankful when you choose to shop through my links and give me credit for helping you score a great find!

Walmart Pjs

The coziest $15 pjs you will ever buy and they come in several color combos. If in between sizes, size down.

9. LV Pouchette Dupe

Rodeo Style

These LV dupes continue to be top sellers every month. I do not personally own any of them so I cannot say what the quality is like or which seller is best. I do receive quite a few messages with very satisfied followers, I will say that! But I do suggest conducting your own research before purchasing. If you like this Amazon designer dupe, check out this post here with a lot more!

8. Abercrombie Cami

White Cami

This cami will be a staple in my Spring/Summer wardrobe. Pairs well with denim, statement skirts and pants! Both the cami and shorts are true to size.

5. Revolve Cocktail Dress

Cocktail Dress

If you are in need of a cocktail dress that is bright and fun, look no further. It is on sale for $82. It does not have much stretch so I suggest sizing up if curvier. Also comes in a pretty coral color and wait till you see the back! I’m also linking my instant self tanner here.

4. Fiesta Two Piece Set

Two Piece Set

I wore this stunner of a two piece set for the RewardStyle Conference. It is $76 but I found it on Amazon for just $45. I do not personally own the Amazon one so I’d read the reviews before purchasing. The waist is not elastic so if in between sizes, size up!

Y’ALL! History has been made over on this little space of the internet. The satin pillowcases knocked the faux Gucci belt out of it’s year long reigning first place title. Not only did it get bumped from first, it got bumped down to third most purchased for the month. Second place goes to a new Amazon designer dupe that is almost too good to be true. Speaking of Amazon, four out of the top five purchased items were from Amazon so it’s safe to say y’all love a good Amazon find!

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Purchases

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Purchases

CALSON JACKET // Comes in regular and petite sizing. Runs a bit oversized but I personally like the fit especially if you want to layer underneath. I went with a regular XS.

LEITH KNIT TANK // Not just your regular basic tank. This one is SO GOOD! If in between sizes, sizes down. I got an XXS.

KUT FROM THE KLOTH JEANS // By far my favorite purchase. They are stretchy, have the perfect amount of distress, a raw hem and under $60!

ITALEAU BOOTIES // A bit of a splurge but SO worth it. The smell of the leather alone will have you convinced. They are so well made and have padded shoe inserts for extra comfort and arch support.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Favorite Picks

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has officially started! I’m sharing what I purchased along with all of my initial favorite picks. Keep in mind that new items will be added daily but these first items may or may not be restocked! Things are already flying off the shelves and the sale hasn’t even been live for 24 hours so if you see something you want, don’t hesitate on clicking that purchase button. Nordstrom has free shipping and free returns so if something doesn’t work out, you can just send it back! Better to be safe than sorry as leaving something in your basket for more than a few minutes can mean you miss out!

I personally opted to pick up the majority of my purchases. This means that Nordstrom will pull all of the items that you purchased and have them waiting for you at the customer service desk for you to pick up. Literally within a couple of hours! This is by far a better option than fighting the crows. I went before the sale started yesterday and it was already a madhouse! Also, there is almost double the selection online as there is in store as many of these items are “online only”.

Every year I stock up on “basics” meaning cotton tees, denim, cardigans, and leggings as these are the most worn pieces in my closet and truly are the most versatile. I love these $18 long sleeve tees for layering when it starting to get a little cooler. The striped ones are always so cute peaking out from underneath a sweater! Last year I purchased this suede moto jacket and got way more use out of it than I thought! It goes with everything: jeans, sundresses, you name it! Grab it while it’s almost $60 off. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of these and I highly suggest getting them in multiple colors.

Happy shopping friends and may the sale God’s be ever in your favor 😉
