Happy Monday friends! I am a tad bit excited because it’s a 3 day work week for me and then I am off to Costa Rica! This look is definitely beach inspired and has me ready to dip my toes in the ocean and feel the sun on my skin!

I think this is now the 4th post in under a month showcasing my love for this off the shoulder trend. I actually bought my dress almost 3 years ago before this whole off the shoulder craze came about. That makes me like a hipster right? 🙂 It’s crazy to me how things go in and out of style so quickly. That’s my justification for not getting rid of anything. For those of you that have seen my closet and wonder how I have so many clothes, its because I still have clothes from high school and probably some even older than that. I have a problem and one of these days I will do a massive purge that’s been years in the making, but today is not that day and tomorrow and the weeks after that aren’t looking too good either. But you really never know what trends are going to come full circle!

One thing that really does not change too much over time are sandals. Over the years I have mastered learning which sandals to buy and which to pass on. My advice to you is to purchase one pair of sandals in each color (brown, black, and white) and then stop looking. Find the cutest, well-made (emphasis on the well-made) pair you can find and buy ’em! I then do not let myself buy another pair of the same color sandal until I have worn the old ones completely out. This has helped me save money by not buying a ton of cheap sandals that I won’t actually wear and instead investing in a few quality, staple pairs. Of course if I find a pair I absolutely love (usually from my favorite store- Marshalls), I usually give in and buy them. My point is, do not over buy in the sandal department because you probably aren’t going to have time to wear that many different pairs, especially if you have a full time job! Sandals are cute and practical for the warm weather but having more than 3 pairs probably isn’t completely necessary. Below I have rounded up some of my favorite sandals all under $100 if you are needing to add a couple pairs to your closet.
