As soon as the temperatures warm up, I’m a shorts, tank top and sandals kind of girl myself. I love a dress and sneakers but these two outfits above are what you can find me in 9 out of ten times. It seems like the new arrivals at Walmart just keep getting better and better so I’ve rounded up some pieces I currently own and some others that I have my eye on.
Not only does Walmart carry my favorite Time and Tru basic tees and tanks, I just found out that they also carry Levi’s which are my favorite denim brand of all time! Not only do they just carry Levi’s, they are much cheaper than other retailers. This pair of denim shorts has quickly become my favorite because they have the quality of Levi’s but have a ton of stretch! The best of both worlds. They run true to size but if in between sizes, size up since they are stretchy. I wear a size 25.
Another thing that I tend to pick up during the warmer months are straw hats, bags and trendy sandals. These are always something I like to change up every year so spending a ton of money just doing make sense. Walmart has so many cute accessories this year that can make just about any outfit cute! Two piece sets are trending BIG time. It’s definitely one of those trends that I am hesitant to drop a lot of money on because 1) they are seasonal and 2) most of them don’t cover much surface area so what material are you paying all of those monies for?! My favorite budget friendly places to shop this trend are Forever 21 and Red Dress Boutique which has pretty decent quality clothing that will last a few wears. If you are looking for a one time wear outfit (ex: bach party), check out Shein but make sure to read reviews for quality and sizing. And if you are looking for a splurge worthy two piece set that will last a long time, check out Revolve, specifically Free People and SuperDownbrands.

Backpacks aren’t just for the classroom anymore, they are being used in place of purses, laptop bags for work, carry ons for travel and even diaper bags! I personally these two backpacks (here and here) and love that my 15″ laptop fits in both. They make traveling so much easier because my purse fits inside and I have plenty of room to carry other things in my hands. Also, my Calpak backpack has a flap on the back of it that allows it to easily fit over your suitcase handle.

We are back for another monthly round up of the most purchased items from the previous month. I always love these posts because I enjoy seeing which items you ladies loved the most and which ones took a back seat. I always want to make sure that I bring you the best content and sales so looking over this data for trending items, categories and retailers helps me plan similar content for the next month and hopefully you like seeing behind the scenes a little bit too!
The past couple of months I have started sharing more of my Walmart and Amazon finds and I’d say by the number of top sellers from these two retailers that I have a good idea of what you ladies are liking! That certainly doesn’t mean that I will stop sharing my favorite items from places like Nordstrom, Abercrombie, Revolve and Old Navy!

The coziest $15 pjs you will ever buy and they come in several color combos. If in between sizes, size down.
9. LV Pouchette Dupe
These LV dupes continue to be top sellers every month. I do not personally own any of them so I cannot say what the quality is like or which seller is best. I do receive quite a few messages with very satisfied followers, I will say that! But I do suggest conducting your own research before purchasing. 8. Abercrombie Cami
This cami will be a staple in my Spring/Summer wardrobe. Pairs well with denim, statement skirts and pants! Both the cami and shorts are true to size.
7. Abercrombie Wrap Dress
The little wrap dress that is perfect for most occasions. Can be dressed up or down and is nursing friendly! Runs true to size.
6. Amazon Scalloped Swimsuit
This Amazon swimsuit has been a top seller for months and for good reason. It is incredible quality and looks great on every body type. If in between sizes, size up! I am typically an XS and the small fits me perfectly. It also comes in lots of color options now!
5. Revolve Cocktail Dress
If you are in need of a cocktail dress that is bright and fun, look no further. It is on sale for $82. It does not have much stretch so I suggest sizing up if curvier. Also comes in a pretty coral color and wait till you see the back! I’m also linking my instant self tanner here.
4. Fiesta Two Piece Set
I wore this stunner of a two piece set for the RewardStyle Conference. It is $76 but I found it on Amazon for just $45. I do not personally own the Amazon one so I’d read the reviews before purchasing. The waist is not elastic so if in between sizes, size up!
3. Amazon Pearl Hair Clips
One of this month’s Tuesday Trend posts was dedicated completely to hair accessories. These Amazon pearl clips come in a pack of 9 for just $10.
2. Amazon Silk Pillowcase

1. Walmart Maxi Dress
This $16 maxi dress won by a landslide! It is insanely soft, has pockets, adjustable straps and comes in 10 colors! It runs true to size.
And as a reminder on how I obtain the monthly top ten data…
I use an affiliate program called rewardStyle. This means that if you click on any link- whether it be from my Instagram, Liketoknow.it app or blog- that takes you to a product page on a retailer’s site and rewardStyle is able to track that it originated from me. Some affiliate programs will pay the influencer for every click that they generate from their site. RewardStyle pays per purchase made. This means that if you click on one of my links and then end up purchasing that item, I will get a small commission (usually between 7-12%). Many bloggers use this same program as part of their revenue source.
Because I use this service I do have access to data analytics. This means I can track what items are clicked on and purchased. I cannot see who clicked on them or what other items might have been purchased. For example, if you click on my Gucci Beltlink and then purchase a swimsuit and a top in the same transaction, I will only be able to see that a purchase was made and that the belt link is how you got to the retailer’s site.
These analytics are incredibly important to me because it allows me to see what all of you are liking. At the end of the day, this little blog business of mine is meant to be a resource for all of you so having the ability to track and measure each product’s success is invaluable. Coming from a Finance background, I tend to geek out over the analytics side of it as I find it incredibly intriguing what all of you are liking, buying and clicking on the most! It gets my gears turning because I genuinely want to bring you products that you are going to love and want to buy (at the right price point of course)!
