You all might remember this gorgeous jacket from a few months back. It was actually my favorite purchase from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale as I was able to score it on major sale. Since then, I’ve been trying to wait to share this post with you until the jacket went on sale again because it is a bit of a splurge, especially for such a unique piece that some might find hard to style. Well you all are in luck because one of my best friends found an identical dupe for you at a quarter of the cost!

While this jacket is definitely a statement piece, it is easier to style than you would think! My advice? Just let the jacket win. What do I mean by that? Don’t try to overpower it. Let it do all of the talking. Simply wear other pieces that do not stand out. As you can see from both of my styled looks, I wear simple, solid colored pieces and then add a pop of color and edge with the jacket.

With only 2 days until Christmas, the holiday looks are in full effect around here. I tend to jump on new trends and wear them like they are going out of style which is completely the case with all of these bell sleeve tops. I seriously can’t get enough of them! I have about 4 other looks coming to the blog that all have bell sleeves and a lot of them have mini skirts too.

I love adding leather into my wardrobe when the cooler weather hits. Leather mini skirts just up the sass level of an outfit. For a night out, holiday party or New Years Eve, leather mini skirts are a great way to add a fun and festive factor. Go against the norm and try an alternative color to black. My personal favorite for the holiday season, is red or burgundy like this one that I am wearing.

I am off to a Christmas brunch with the ladies in my family. It’s a tradition that we do every year and it’s one of my favorites! After that will be a full day of wrapping presents because I haven’t even started. I brought all of my presents to my parents house so that I can steal mama’s wrapping paper 🙂

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had as nice and relaxing of a weekend as I did 🙂 I am a little more giddy this Monday morning than I usually am because today is the only day I will be coming in to work this week. I’m headed to Belize tomorrow morning with some of my favorite girlies and the beach is calling my name!! This weekend Houston decided to show us a glimpse at what winter weather feels like and I took full advantage. These leather leggings from Zara will be on repeat this season because they spruce up every outfit and are so darn comfortable.
