It’s that time of the year again… SHOPBOP sale! And good news my friends! While there is normally a minimum dollar amount that you have to spend in order to get a decent discount, this year there isn’t! That means some of our favorite brands are 20% off today including brand new arrivals and designer items.
SHOPBOP has an overwhelming amount of items to sift through so let me do the hard part for you. See below for some of my go to brands when shopping the site as well as some items that I own and then a round up of my top sale picks! I do want to warn you that sizes tend to sell out very quickly so my advice is to add to cart and check out immediately. SHOPBOP uses 2 day Amazon prime *free* shipping so you can always make multiple orders but just keep in mind items can go out of stock while sitting in your cart! Happy shopping friends:)
It’s that time of the year to stock up on Spring trends and what better way than to score brand new items at 25% off? Sign me up! I’m talking popular designers like Free People, Madewell, Sam Edelman, Levi’s, Agolde, and so many more! The two retailers below are having 20-25% off right now and so I’ve rounded up some of my favorite items based on trends that I am currently loving.
4/10 – 4/14 | 20% off orders under $500, 25% off orders over $500 with codeEVENT18
To get the best savings, you have to spend over $500. I highly suggest going in together with friends or family to reach that $500 mark. While that sounds like a lot to spend, there are several investment pieces in my own closet that I wish I had scored at 25% off. See below for the items from the sale that are already in my closet.
SHOPBOP is the best place to get designer items for a steal! For those that haven’t heard of them, they are like an online Nordstrom and carry just about every designer brand you can think of! Some of my favorite brands that they carry include: Free People, Levi’s, Madewell, Sam Edelman, SPANX and so many more! Use code GOBIG18 to save BIG. The more you spend, the bigger the discount. Pro tip: if something that you are wanting does not qualify for the promotion, all you have to do to get the discount is apply something that does. So if you want a pair of $199 denim, add something to your cart that is at least $1 and qualifies for the promotion.

Designer bags- What girl wouldn’t want a designer bag? We only dream about them on a regular basis and squeal at the thought! Designer bags range in price depending on the brand. Some of my favorite more “budget friendly” brands are Kate Spade, Tory Burch and Rebecca Minkoff. If we are dreaming then I’d have to say Gucci, Chloe and Chanel. Guess what? There are Black Friday deals for all of those!
Designer shoes- Money doesn’t buy happiness but it does buy shoes and that’s kind of the same thing 🙂 There are some great sales on designer shoes going on right now including Stuart Weitzman, Hunter, Sorel and many others!
Designer accessories- Statement earrings are my downfall right now but the good thing is that I don’t foresee them going anywhere anytime soon! Stock up on these fun accessories! Shopbop has so many good ones right now but BaubleBar will forever be my go-to budget friendly option.
Luggage- While luggage ain’t cheap, it’s something that we all need! Do yourself a favor and buy it while it’s on sale.

Designer dupes- Not ready to shell out the money for the real deal? These *extremely good* knock offs can tide you over! I own the $23 Gucci dupe flats and have seen the $18 belt and Chloe bags in person! They look exactly like the real deal y’all and are a fraction of the cost!
Cozy attire- Whether you are shopping for yourself or somebody else, anything cozy is a sure bet. Fuzzy socks, warm blankets, and pajamas are the way to anyone’s heart and there are so many good ones that are on major sale right now!
Accessories- When in doubt, pretty much every girl likes accessories. Scarves, earrings, purses, you name it. You can usually find scarves and earrings at Target or Charming Charlie. These are my two personal favorite spots to score great deals!
I hope you all aren’t sick of hearing me talk about fashion week yet because I am just getting started! It was my second time to attend this year, and if it was any sort of sign of fashion weeks to come, I would say that they are just going to get better and better each year. It’s crazy being able to visit fashion shows, parties and events of brands that I have come to know in the industry alongside fashion bloggers all over the world. New York Fashion Week truly is a pinch me moment that I don’t think will ever feel “normal”.
As a heads up, there is a lot coming to the blog this week. I will recap each day that I was there as well as answer questions that I have been asked about attending fashion week and working with brands and PR firms. In the meantime, I updated my Everything You Need to Know About NYFWblog post that houses the best information for anyone wanting to attend fashion week next season.
Day one of fashion week started extremely early and with very little sleep, but rest assured it was my favorite day! Kylee, from Whine to Wine, and I caught a 6 am flight out of Houston so that we could hit the ground running (hence the comfy sneakers). After checking into The Courtyard Marriott, we had our first meeting at Bollare’s showroom. Bollare is a PR firm that represents several brands that you will recognize such as Wrangler, Spiritual Gangster, Chinese Laundry, Triangl, and many more. While there we ran into Christine from Hello Fashion blog and I fangirled this year just as hard as I did last year when I met her!
After loading up at Bollare, we headed to our hair appointments with Redken. The location of the appointment was in one of the Dream Hotel penthouses with a terrace overlooking New York. This would be the first of many tipsy rooftop shenanigans throughout our trip! I ended up getting Laced hair extensions and a fishtail braid. Check out this post to see more of the look!
Next up, we headed to a Shopbop (one of my favorite retailers) pop-up event announcing their new site rebrand and fall collection. They had limencello drinks, a huge swing, PUPPIES, and a beanie making station. This was one event that I was extremely excited to get to attend as I shop their site all of the time! If you haven’t heard of Shopbop, I like to say it is very similar to Nordstrom. They carry many designer brands such as Tory Burch, Rebecca Minkoff, Stuart Wietzman, etc) and have a Friends & Family sale twice a year where everything is discounted up to 25% off. Stay tuned because one is happening soon! I will update this page when the sale starts.
The last event of the day was a VIP party with Sam Edelman. I had been working with them for a few months prior to this event so getting to attend their party during fashion week was surreal! By this point, the drinks had been flowing all day and it was at this point Kylee and I realized we had not eaten since 5 am and food was a MUST.
We headed back to our hotel that housed the most amazing rooftop club and danced the night away after drunkingly ordering one of everything off of the bar menu. Cheers to day one!
