Day 11: Gifts for the Beauty Queen

There are a few reasons I love being a girl. Make up, hair and fashion are pretty much at the top of that list. What girl doesn’t love a little pampering and beauty splurges? I don’t consider myself a beauty queen but Christmas is usually when I tend to stock up for the year on necessities and even a few wants.  Necessities include dry shampoo, perfume, mascara and eyeshadow. I ask for a new eyeshadow palette every year. In fact, I am asking for this one this year! Wants always include face masks. If you don’t know what beauty product to get your friend or loved one, you can’t go wrong with a face mask! They are the perfect pampering tool.

Day 10: Gifts for the Homebody

We all know somebody who would rather stay in than go out, drink wine on the couch instead of throw back tequila shots or spend Sunday brunch around the kitchen table instead of at a fancy restaurant. Let’s all raise our hands in unison! Almost everything that you see above is under $25 and would make the best gifts. I’m convinced that cozy gifts are the best gifts because they are usually something that everyone loves yet won’t always indulge in themselves.

If you are wondering what happened to day 6, it got away from me on vacation! Don’t worry there is still a new giveaway but I am still working on catching up on gift guides! DAY 6: Gifts for Coworkers

1. Coffee Mug/Thermos/Tumbler

As cliche as it sounds, no guy or girl can pass up a new coffee mug, especially if they are a coffee lover! My personal favorites are the ones with funny sayings or my initial.

2. Work bag

Most working ladies don’t want to carry a purse and laptop bag so a larger tote is usually a good compromise. Check out some of my favorites below.

3. Desk necessities

From one 8-5er to the next, there are a few desk necessities that after being in the office for a few years I can’t live without. Some of these items include picture frames (let’s make it a little homey in the office!), ceramic tray (for rings and other jewelry that might get in the way of a keyboard), and a docking station (to charge phone/ipad).

4. Wrap

For some insane reason that I will never understand, office buildings are always the equivalent of the North Pole temperature year round. I always keep a few different colored cardigans/wraps at work for this purpose.

Day 5: Gifts for the Teacher

I polled several of my teacher friends on what their favorite gifts to receive were and almost all of them said gift cards! If you are like me and don’t love the idea of just giving them a gift card for all of their hard work, here are some small ideas that you can bundle together or give with a gift card!
